Job summary Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist seeking an exciting opportunity within a diverse, supportive and forward-thinking team? We are delighted to offer a new part-time Band 7 Selective Mutism Team Lead role in the London Borough of Redbridge.
In this post, you will play a key leadership role in the development and delivery of the Selective Mutism care pathway, contributing actively to service design and upskilling the wider workforce. You will work in close partnership with children and families, alongside colleagues across health, education and social care, contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions and providing specialist clinical input, training and consultation.
This opportunity would suit either an established Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new challenge, or an experienced Band 6 therapist ready to progress to the next stage of their career.

Lead the development and delivery of Specialist Selective Mutism services for children and young people across Redbridge Provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to junior colleagues Deliver highly specialist assessment and intervention for children with Selective Mutism and speech, language and communication needs, making a meaningful impact on children and families Work collaboratively with families, education professionals, health professionals and social care professionals to deliver a coordinated local approach

Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, CEME) This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 p.a. pro rata for part time).
