Job summary
We are looking to recruit a motivated versatile dedicated person with excellent personable and communication skills, to act as Administrator as part of a very small team.
Your duties will be making and changing appointments on the radiology system, arranging appointments by phone or sending out appointment letters, answering telephone queries, reception and general office duties and generally enabling the department to run smoothly. You will be the face of the department and vitally important first contact

Main duties of the job
To receive telephone call from patients relating to making appointments: to deal with these calls and take appropriate action in professional, helpful and polite manner. To receive written requests for Outpatient appointments via internal tertiary referrals and ICE referrals. To date stamp, input referrals onto the CRIS system and prioritise. To make appointments via outbound calls to the patients to fill un-utilised slots. To deal with amendments/cancellations, re-scheduling of Outpatient appointments. To ensure reception desk is covered at all times and all patients are booked into the department in a professional, helpful and polite manner. To ensure that all mail is accurately dispatched for collection on a daily basis Monday to Friday.
