About Juniper Ward Juniper Ward is an 18-bed acute inpatient ward for older adults experiencing mental health crises, including conditions such as depression and bipolar disorder.
We provide short-stay inpatient care for individuals within the South West Surrey district, focusing on comprehensive assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation in a safe, therapeutic environment.
Our friendly and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of support during the acute phase of their illness.
Main duties of the job
The Role As a Healthcare Assistant on Juniper Ward, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our patients by delivering high-quality, compassionate care that positively contributes to their recovery journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing physical and psychological care in line with individual care plans Supporting patients through the acute phase of mental illness Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team Supporting carers and families where appropriate Contributing to a safe, therapeutic ward environment You will help ensure that care delivery is holistic, responsive, and person-centred, making a meaningful difference to those we support.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, and a flexible approach Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Are motivated to learn and develop within mental health services You will also:
