Job summary
Hibaldstow Medical Practice is a friendly and supportive rural dispensing practice located in the Lincolnshire village of Hibaldstow, serving a close-knit rural community across the surrounding villages .
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our well-established team for 4/5 sessions per week.
Situated within easy commuting distance of Scunthorpe, Lincoln, and Doncaster, this is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking the benefits of rural general practice whilst remaining well connected to surrounding towns and cities.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside 2 experienced partners and a skilled multidisciplinary team, the role will involve delivering high-quality patient-centred care within a friendly and supportive rural dispensing practice serving a close-knit rural community.
The role offers clinical autonomy, continuity of care, protected admin time, and the opportunity to help shape and develop future services within the practice in a supportive University Teaching Practice environment.
About us
Our Team Hibaldstow Medical Practice is a small, friendly rural dispensing practice serving approximately 3,500 patients across a wide geographical area of around 120 square miles. Our close-knit team includes two GPs, two practice nurses, a nurse associate, a healthcare assistant, eight dispensers, four receptionists, two administrators and a practice manager. We work collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-focused care to our local community.

Experience Essential
Experience of working within a General Practice setting Experience managing a varied clinical caseload independently Experience delivering high-quality patient-centred care Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team Experience maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records

Experience using SystmOne clinical system Experience working within a rural or dispensing practice Experience within a teaching or training practice environment Experience contributing to service development or quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications Essential
Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration and licence to practice Included on the NHS England Performers List MRCGP qualification (or equivalent)
Desirable
Experience working within General Practice Experience using SystmOne clinical system Interest or experience in teaching/training within a University Teaching Practice environment Experience working within a rural or dispensing practice setting
