Main duties of the job About the job
You will be eager to keep up to date with developments in the treatments that you are prescribing and help With You to develop, implement and evaluate the interventions we use with our clients. These include:
harm reduction providing support and advice in relation to substance misuse clinics; where we assess and review prescribed treatment plans advise on detoxification vaccination and blood testing programmes It's not just about those people who actively engage with our service though - you will also be reaching out to those in our communities to offer proactive support and education.

If you are a first level Registered Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist who thrives working in a community setting, assessing and supporting people with their healthcare issues, this might be just the role for you.
We welcome applications from prescribers with a passion for working with our client group, including those with backgrounds in other specialities, as full training and induction would be provided. Most of our work is face-to-face with our clients and therefore we require the successful candidate to be on-site, however we are open to flexible working options. Please note, this is a part-time position for 30 hours per week, and the salary advertised will be pro-rata. This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026
