Main responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors; delivering patient meals accurately, professionally, and courteously; assisting with basic food preparation and stock rotation; maintaining cleanliness within kitchen, dining, and service areas; following food safety, hygiene, and infection prevention procedures at all times; operating catering equipment safely and responsibly; supporting the catering team during busy service periods; washing utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment; ensuring dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed correctly.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Good communication and teamwork skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; A caring, professional, and customer-focused approach; Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends, and bank holidays; Good awareness of cleanliness and food hygiene standards. Desirable qualifications include previous catering, kitchen, or hospitality experience; Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification; Experience working within healthcare or large-scale catering environments.
