Private & Commercial CRM & Marketing Solutions Unit Data driven Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing is a long term strategic focus area for business area Private and Commercial at If Insurance. If is undergoing a transformation to become a more modern marketing and digital sales company. As part of the transformation we are investing in modernizing the technology stack to execute one-to-one communication across channels in the Nordic region covering over 3.6 million customers. Despite all the new technology and available data we also believe that the fundamental role of marketing hasn’t changed to gain understanding our customers’ needs and values in order to create experiences that emotionally connects our customers with the If brand. We seek a widely skilled data engineer to help us implement, maintain and utilize data packages for digital marketing & sales use cases working in a Nordic role. You will have a key role in enabling our future use cases for digital analytics and marketing built around the Google Marketing Platform. Your collaboration network will consist of a diverse group of stakeholders like digital analysts, data scientists, CRM specialists, marketing managers etc. that you will provide relevant data nicely packaged in a privacy by design way. You will also interact with data engineers in other units, as well as with people responsible for enterprise data warehousing. This is a great opportunity to work not only across the Nordics but also cross Business Areas and Business Units with utilizing holistically the rich data available in an insurance company. Responsibilities Working closely with CRM, Digital sales and Marketing stakeholders to integrate various data sources into data packages on a cloud platform Develop and maintain data pipelines across different sources Acting as a technical solution owner for data packages and ensuring the data quality Translating business and omni-channels communication needs into requirements for data packages Hands on support and development of joining online behavioral data with offline customer data Desired Skills and Experience Digital Marketing We prefer previous experience in one or many of the following areas: SQL, NoSQL, Web Services, APIs, Web Analytics, Cloud Platforms like: Azure, AWS Google Cloud / Big Query, Google Analytics or similar tools Programming skills in some of the languages: C# (.Net), Java, Python and Javascript Ability to design efficient and robust ETL workflows Deep understanding of data models and structures. Experience from using or developing data warehouse solutions such as Teradata is considered an advantage General knowledge of web and mobile development frameworks Understanding of digital marketing & sales concepts and keen attention to details Outstanding team player, analytical mindset and problem solver in a Nordic environment University degree in a relevant technical area Fluent in both oral and written English and one of the Nordic languages We offer A key role in our vision to transform If into a smooth insurance company that is easy to engage with Learn new skills and concepts from a diverse but extremely talented group of colleagues.
