Education/Experience: - Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience - Minimum 4 years of experience in information technology and resource management - Experience implementing communication networks for large organizations - Experience managing vendors and fellow colleagues in architecting, implementing, and supporting communication networks, and other back office IT functions - Knowledge of helpdesk processes Preferred Experience: - Familiarity and/or experience with software defined networks, specifically Software Defined –Wide Area Networks -Familiarity with Distributed Antenna Systems deployments - Experience in telecommunications vendor selection/negotiation - Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus Specific Skills/Abilities: - Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus - Highly organized and result-driven - Proactive and goes beyond expectations - Exceptionally good problem-solving skills - Has a can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit - Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management - Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently - Ability to work in a high profile and often high pressured international environment - Qualities that we cherish are flexibility, sense of quality, friendliness, motivation to take on new challenges, grit and a sense of humor - Passionate & purpose driven Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Program Manager to join our passionate team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. As the IT Ops & Infrastructure Program Manager you will be architecting how Northvolt’s IT organization is measured and managed, along with implementing and maintaining the communication networks used throughout Northvolt’s offices and factories. This role will report directly to the Head of IT & Infrastructure, and falls within Northvolt's Automation group. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Build out processes for handling IT Ops workflows (e.g. helpdesk, teleconferencing, Network Operations Command [NOC], etc) - Architect and lead the implementation of Northvolt’s Wide Area Network, starting with the pilot factory in Västerås, plus Northvolt offices, and eventually the main factory in Skellefteå - Play key role in vendor selection for any communications networking, and IT Ops components procured by Northvolt - Manage vendors and eventually other Northvolters involved in implementing, and supporting our networks and back office IT functions The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn.
