To qualify we believe you have A creative and curious mind passionate about machine learning Experience from implementing machine learning methods including neural networks and/or reinforcement learning Experience from working with ML-based NLP systems (is a bonus) Experience of generative models (is a bonus) Solid experience with Python or similar languages, and common ML frameworks An understanding large scale ML training systems A passion for interactive experiences, games and new technologies A fluence in English The ability to be a great team player with great communication skills Overview As a machine learning engineer at Embark you will be a game maker, using machine learning to create new ways to enhance experiences in interactive entertainment, including creating natural language interfaces, procedural generation tools, and artificial intelligence for games. Examples of responsibilities Implement working applications from ML methods described in the literature Create ML-based tools to simplify and amplify game development Stay current with new research and share that knowledge with the rest of the team Read, understand, and improve upon methods published in the scientific literature If you come up with something novel, publish it! Collaborate with designers, content creators and gameplay software engineers Creating experiences is magical… but everyone should be able to do it!
