Power2U is now looking for an ambitious and highly skilled product manager for working with design, development and productification of power flexibility services from aggregated pools of distributed energy assets. This is an important role with responsibility of full product development life cycle, including business model development, pilot testing and customer verification. Responsibilities  Full responsibility of one of the Power2U’s power flexibility products  Management of complete product development life cycle including analysis of requirements, customer feedback, design and development, pilot testing, setting up of business model and handing over to the sales team  Planning and management of product development and release schedule  Management of resources and finance for product development  Management of key partners  Working in close collaboration with software development team  Working with sales and operations team The Profile You may have a degree in a relevant field such as energy engineering, industrial engineering, physics or obtained equivalent expertise through work experience. You have a strong understanding of power and electrical energy storage systems as well as interest and understanding of general energy systems and flexibility in energy systems, renewable generation and decentralized power production. You have the ability to understand interactions between technical issues and organizational and business contexts. You have a strong ability to structure 02 and organize workflows and are able to manage multiple tasks in parallel to ensure a fast-paced development and efficient productification process. You have a high level of personal integrity and a strong trust in your technical expertise in the area. You like to work with external partners, suppliers, consultants and multicultural team. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written. Requirements  Degree in energy, electric power systems or industrial engineering (or similar) from University or obtained equivalent knowledge through work experience  Minimum 2-3 years of experience of working with energy systems and electrical energy storage  Interests and ability to perform hands-on tasks, work in tight time schedules and ability to deliver high quality products  General interest and experience in energy/power software and IT tools  General interest and skills in product and project management  General interest and skills in energy and flexibility markets  Ability to evaluate and set up business models, revenue streams and perform cost-benefit analysis Power2U, a cleantech start up, aims to create a new commercial actor, a Local System Operator (LSO), which will design and operate sustainable local energy systems in various customer segments (commercial buildings, industrial sites and residential apartment buildings) by moving from the traditional energy management approach to a higher focus on local, digital and sustainable solutions.
