About this role
We’re looking for someone who is equally at home with product, design, and business intelligence. You value qualitative and quantitative research equally, and know when is the best time to apply each. You are comfortable looking deeply inward at our own data and usage, and outward at the market, industry, and consumer trends. You have extensive experience in user research, creating user value, and communicating the “why” of short-term and long-term product roadmaps throughout an organization. You have a passion for building sustainable products that scale - and you’ve done it at least once before. Strategy: Together with the management team identify opportunities and risks for the product and company. Foresee and identify technology trends and evolving social behavior to add value for customers and create new revenue streams. Lead the overall product and design strategy together with the product design team, and own the Product Roadmap. Communicate the product strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers and stakeholders. Be a visionary and an evangelist of the product both externally and internally. Operations: Lead and collaborate with the product and design teams to develop an insight-driven organization. Lead a team of product managers, design managers and business intelligence experts. Be the owner of the product backlog and prioritize actions against business goals together with the CTO. We are Fishbrain, the largest social platform for people who love fishing.
