ROLE OVERVIEW
We need a Compliance Paralegal who can take full ownership of data protection and information governance matters across Trinity Property Group, handling them accurately, diligently and within legislative timescales, without being micromanaged.
You’ll be a pivotal part of our growing in-house legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal and acting as the main point of accountability for Subject Access Requests, GDPR compliance and data breach management across the organisation.
This is a role where detail matters and timelines are non-negotiable. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload and know when to escalate.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This is a detailed, process-driven role that requires exceptional organisation, a sound understanding of UK data protection law and confidence working with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
You will need to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously, meet strict legislative deadlines and maintain meticulous records throughout.
You will be expected to take ownership of your responsibilities, identify issues early and provide clear, helpful guidance to colleagues, rather than simply processing requests in isolation.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You’ll be successful in this role if:
Subject Access Requests and associated data subject requests are managed accurately and within legislative timescalesGDPR documentation is maintained and up to dateData breaches are handled promptly, with thorough documentation and appropriate regulatory reportingColleagues across TPG feel supported and well-guided on information governance matters
HOW YOU’LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
Most weeks, you’ll be:
Monitoring the relevant internal mailbox and managing responses to Data Subject Access Requests and other Data Subject Data Requests, including document review, redaction and deadline trackingMonitoring and managing Data Protection Compliance matters and maintaining GDPR documentationAssisting with data breach management, including fact-finding, documentation and regulatory reporting supportLiaising with internal stakeholders, the IT team and external Counsel on privacy-related and data breach matters
You’ll work on a hybrid basis, trusted to manage your time and priorities effectively.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
Previous experience in a legal, compliance or regulatory environmentPractical knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection compliance processesFamiliarity with Subject Access Request handling and data breach managementKnowledge of residential property management or the property sectorProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
