The Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy team within the Warehouse of a manufacturing site to ensure the smooth operations of moving, managing and organising goods within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Forklift (Bendy) operation & pre-use safety checksSafely remove pallets from racking as detailed in pick listSafely moving pallets from end of factory line to rackingSafely loading / unloading vehicles in yard areaOperating scanner and occasional computer useFollowing SOP’s, SSW’s with a pro-active approach to safetyAttending training, meetings, company updates when required Key Skills & Experience:
Forklift Licence preferably Pivot Steer (Bendy)Previous warehouse, picking and loading experienceKnowledge of stock control and inventoryKnowledge of health & safety in warehouse environmentProblem solving skillsAdaptable, able to embrace change at short noticeGood communication both verbal and writtenIT competent – Using Scanners & Computer Applications etc. Health and Safety is an integral part of Smurfit Westrock activities and all colleagues are expected to play their part in creating a safe working environment; adhering to all SW policies within their area of work and a conducting any such work in a safe manner.
