Qualifications / Experience / Skills Bachelor or Masters Degree within the field of Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in Aerospace Engines domain. Knowledge and experience of simulation and analysis in solid mechanics. Experience of managing CAE teams. Experience in working with OEM’s like Pratt and Whitney. It’s advantageous to have experience in GKN design system and also managing teams from India. Software Mandatory Skilled in Ansys and Hyperworks Advantageous Nasgro, Simcenter, Teamcenter, Linux and scripting languages like Python Fluent in English (spoken and in writing). Additional languages are always valued as assets. Role Purpose Engine Products within GKN Aerospace Engine Systems in Trollhättan is now seeking to hire a Structures Lead in Cold structure department. The Structures lead is supporting the Senior Design Engineer (SDE) in being responsible for the simulation work done to support the development and validation of the product, fulfillment of the requirements of the product, justification of non-conformances and give input to the design. You will be responsible for approx. 10 Analysis engineers located in multiple sites. The key responsibilities include; Responsibility for technical management and oversight of the simulation activities, ensuring compliance to customer, regulatory and GKN processes, requirements and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the analysis results and certification analyses are delivered to the agreed technical quality, commercial and schedule requirement. Responsible for planning analysis activities within the program in order to meet technical, customer and business requirements. Responsible for the simulation engineering team according to the established work planning including work breakdown structure adequate for the tasks to be performed.
