You understand the different functions within the organization, their core processes and how they’re all linked together. With your competence and knowledge within the field and your team you’re able to make fast and clear decisions. This means that you have previous experience in Production, Process and Change Management, preferably within Automotive. You are known to maintain and monitor results (both quality and productivity levels) based on deadline, budget and goals You’ve got documented and strong project management and/or management skills. You’re able to identify and assign roles and responsibilities to your employees, with clear goals, expectations and actions. You’ve got experience not only in coaching and inspiring individuals and teams, but also in communicating and negotiating with customer and management groups. This also means that you’re not able to take a conflict should it arise When you are confronted with an issue, you are known to ask “why” as a way to better understand the root cause and are used to use different analytic methods in your problem-solving method. You make rational decisions that are based on facts and the task at hand Level (diploma) required: - Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic - Post-secondary education in business, engineering or Quality is highly merited Other required skills: - Documented manger and/or senior project management skills - Swedish and English, written and verbal - Customer and support experience As the Industrial Operation & Launch Manager your main responsibility will be to ensure that we have a successful production launch and that launch volumes meets all customers and Veoneer’s requirement, as well as successful hand-over to the series production. To your aid you’ll have your employees and team of highly skilled production engineers that you are responsible for and will lead to make sure that the industrialization is meet according to both legal and Veoneer’s policies, standards and requirement. We are a high-volume production plant and your main mission will be to ensure that the equipment, machines, fixtures etc. meets the capability requirements with high accessibility, quality and advanced features according to set budget You’ll be a member in the Industrial Engineering Management group and you’ll report directly to our Industrial Engineering Manager. You’ll support our Launch Lead and Team in decision making and coordinating top priorities for the company. You will also coordinate specific launch activities with process owners, as well as being part of the supplier final acceptance testing’s As the Industrial Operation & Launch Manager, you’ll not only have a central role in our plants development but also a global one when it comes to develop new global standards within the Veoneer Group Veoneer – develops cutting-edge technology within the automotive industry and future cars.
