You are a person who is known to instill trust, confidence and encourage curiosity with your Group Manager and within your team, since you know that it can lead to more innovative improvements and solutions. You understand the different functions within the organization, their core processes and how they’re all linked together. With your competence and knowledge within the field and your team you’re able to make fast and clear decisions. This means that you have previous experience in Production, Process and Change Management, preferably within Automotive. You are known to maintain and monitor results (both quality and productivity levels) based on deadline, budget and goals You’ve got documented and strong leader and management skills. You’re able to identify and assign roles and responsibilities to your Group Mangers, with clear goals, expectations and actions. You’ve got experience not only in coaching and inspiring individuals and teams, but also in communicating and negotiating with customer and management groups. This also means that you’re not able to take a conflict should it arise. When you are confronted with an issue, you are known to ask “why” as a way to better understand the root cause and are used to use different analytic methods in your problem-solving method. You make rational decisions that are based on facts and the task at hand Level (diploma) required: - Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic - Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering or Quality is highly merited Other required skills: - Documented manger and/or senior project management skills - Documented leader skills from production environment, preferably within Automotive - Swedish and English, written and verbal - Customer and support experience As the Production Manager it will be your responsibility to lead our production forward in Vårgårda, to ensure that our different production lines are running effectively. Safety and quality two of Veoneer’s the key essences, both when it comes to our production and our employees. It is therefore apparent that you as Production Manager set strategically goals to maintain and improve the quality and safely for our employees and production according to both legal and Veoneer’s policies, standards and requirement. To your aid you’ll have a group of highly skilled Group Managers each responsible for their own production segment that reports directly to you, as well as Group Managers within Quality, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering organizations You’ll be a member in the Operations Management group and you’ll report directly to our Operations Manager. You’ll also have a close collaboration with our Maintenance Manager and Industrial Operation & Launch Manager, to ensure that our series production and new production launches are running according to schedule and set budget Our purpose is to create trust in mobility. We design and build state-of-the-art hardware, software, and solutions for active safety, ADAS, autonomous driving, restraint control and brake control Additionally Veoneer in Sweden is located in 5 different cities throughout the country, from Skellefteå in the north to Gothenburg on the west coast. In Vårgårda, just an hour away from the Swedish car mecca, Gothenburg, we have our state of the art Research and Electronics Manufacturing facility. Here our Research teams are working on the next revolution within automotive safety. Our Industrial Engineers are working together with our Production, Quality and Logistics team to develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar, camera and vision systems.
