QualificationsThe qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/26/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/26/2026. GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Major DutiesProvide strategic oversight for subordinate supervisors and staff, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and guiding the implementation of goals to improve FDNS training programs and related initiatives.Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of management and program analysis activities related to the development, delivery, and evaluation of foundational, technical, and specialized FDNS training curricula.Ensure effective management of administrative processes and internal controls, including procurement, budget and financial management, human resources, logistics, facilities, and asset management to support the FDNS Training Academy’s mission.Analyze and evaluate training program effectiveness, develop and implement improvements to policies and procedures, and manage the collection and reporting of training metrics and outcomes.Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior FDNS and USCIS officials, other DHS components, and partner agencies, to ensure alignment of training and workforce development initiatives.RequirementsConditions of Employment: You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National to apply for this position Successfully pass a Background Investigation including financial disclosure You must pass a drug screening Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service Political appointees may require OPM approval before on-boarding USCIS applies the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 to its telework program This position IS NOT considered "essential" for purposes of reporting to work when the facility might otherwise be closed.
