About this role
We are seeking a Scientist – Analytical Testing (Proteins & Biologics) to support characterization and release testing of biological therapeutics in a regulated laboratory environment. This is a hands-on, testing-focused role where you will execute established analytical methods, support high-throughput workflows, and contribute to data integrity and compliance.
This role is ideal for early-career scientists seeking to build technical expertise in protein analytics, biologics testing, and regulated lab environments (cGMP/GLP).
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine analytical testing to support biologics characterization and releaseExecute established methods with full ownership of sample preparation, analysis, and documentationConduct testing using:LC-based methods (e.g., HPLC/UPLC)Plate-based assays for protein characterization and impurity analysisSupport high-throughput workflows, including automated liquid handling systemsAnalyze and review data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and complianceTroubleshoot routine method and instrumentation issuesMaintain detailed, audit-ready documentation in alignment with cGMP/GLP standardsApply scientific knowledge to method execution and data interpretationCollaborate within a small, team-oriented lab environment to meet project timelines Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field0–2 years of relevant laboratory or industry experienceExposure to analytical techniques (LC-based and/or plate-based methods)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with:ELISA, CE-SDS, PCRHPLC/UPLC methods (RP, IEX, SEC, etc.)Familiarity with lab systems such as Empower, SoftMax ProExperience operating laboratory instrumentation (plate readers, HPLC systems)Understanding of regulated environments (cGMP/GLP) and documentation standards What to Expect in the Hiring Process:
