About this role
As a Tire Development Engineer II within the Global Product Team, you will be responsible for the industrialization and introduction of new tire articles into worldwide production plants. You will ensure timely and flawless launches across different regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) while supporting continuous improvement, quality, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end introduction of new tire articles according to defined launch plans, size ranges, and timelinesEnsure timely Release Notices (RN) and Start of Production (SOP) in cooperation with global production plantsCoordinate experimental tire orders (ETO), validate plant readiness, and manage deviationsCollaborate closely with Platform Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Launch Management, and regional teamsEnsure compliance with internal processes and global legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. UTQG, INMETRO, NOM)Support scrap reduction, compound strategy changes, CVG (cross-value generation) initiatives, and article re-introductionsDrive continuous improvement of article introduction and maintenance processesContribute to audit readiness and quality management according to established systems (PoMS)The position is based in Puchov; proficiency in Slovak is required Education & Background
University degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science)Professional ExperienceExperience in product development, industrialization, or manufacturing, preferably in the automotive or tire industryHands-on experience with project- or process-based work in an international environment is an advantageTechnical & Professional Skills
