Job Overview The Materials Planning Analyst II is responsible for developing and managing production plans to meet customer demand while supporting business objectives. This role oversees production scheduling, inventory management, material availability, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
- What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer demand and MRP requirements to develop production plans.
- Create, release, monitor, and reschedule production orders in SAP.
- Monitor production plan execution and inventory performance.
- Ensure material availability and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and Suppliers to support on-time deliveries.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier commitments, and material flow.
- Analyze demand, capacity, shortages, and inventory trends.
- Track and report supply chain KPIs, including inventory and delivery performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and operational projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and production performance.
