About this role
Scope of Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Accompany student(s) on bus ride to and from school
- Assist students with on-task behavior and completion of teacher assigned tasks including hand over hand assist if needed
- Accompany/escort students in exploratory classes and therapy sessions as needed
- Assist in necessary record keeping including data collection or health records
- Assist in preparation of instructional materials and supplies and clean up
- Administer alternative testing accommodations when needed
- Escort student(s) to various parts of the building
- Assist with student arrival and departure
- Attend to students' physical needs including toileting, lifting for transfers to/from wheelchair
- Attend to students' medical needs under direction of school nurse
- Monitor and implement plan as necessary
- Accompany students in all physical activities
- Follow directions of classroom teacher, therapists or professional staff.
Hours
6:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m./1:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
