Welder/Fabricator III (Metal Fabricator) | $28-$35/hr | 1st Shift
Join a growing fabrication team where your advanced welding and fabrication expertise will be valued. We're seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator III who takes pride in producing high-quality structural steel and custom metal projects while mentoring the next generation of fabricators.
What You'll Do
- Independently fabricate, fit, weld, and finish complex structural steel and miscellaneous metal assemblies from detailed shop drawings.
- Perform advanced MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, tolerances, bills of material, and fabrication specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Troubleshoot fabrication challenges, including fit-up issues, distortion control, alignment concerns, and welding defects.
- Utilize advanced measuring, layout, and inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy and project compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, supervisors, and production teams to deliver high-quality finished products on schedule.
- Train and mentor junior welders and fabricators, sharing technical expertise and promoting safe, efficient work practices.
Schedule & Pay
- 1st Shift: Flexible start times between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM with 45-hour work weeks.
- Open to candidates interested in 3rd Shift opportunities.
- Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
