Inventory Specialist / Shipping & Receiving Clerk - $21/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to monitor and maintain materials, inventory, and records. This role involves evaluating inventory levels, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials.
• Evaluate inventory levels and notify the purchasing clerk when reorders are necessary.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare reports.
• Perform daily cycle counts and monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and accuracy on the shop floor.
• Refill carts daily for the next day's work.
• Place all parts and finished goods on shelves and in bins in a timely.
• Receive inventory daily from shipping and receiving, updating bin labels with accurate counts.
• Manage stock rotation and lot separation for all inventory items.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of prior working experience in a warehouse/shipping and receiving environment, inventory control, order fulfillment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work is conducted inside a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available at least one Saturday a month and occasionally extended hours at the end of shifts as needed. The role requires standing for the majority of the day and includes heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellabell, GA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
