About this role
We are hiring Production Workers for a fast-paced manufacturing facility producing laundry detergent and kitty litter. This is a hands-on position that involves packaging, palletizing, material handling, and general production work.
Shifts & Pay
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM | $19.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM-10:00 PM | $19.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM-5:30 AM | $19.50/hour
Job Duties
- Open boxes and load plastic bottles into machine hoppers on the laundry detergent line
- Package, inspect, and sort finished products
- Hand stack and palletize cases of product
- Move cases from one pallet to another to build mixed-product display pallets
- Complete rework as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment and production areas
- Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
- Perform repetitive lifting and bending throughout the shift
- Lift cases weighing approximately 20-30 lbs, including some overhead lifting
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position, so candidates should be comfortable with:
- Frequent lifting and bending
- Repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
- Standing for extended periods
- Moving full cases of product between pallets
- Lifting approximately 20-30 lbs at a time
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility producing laundry detergent and kitty litter
- Fast-paced production environment
- Conveyor systems and industrial machinery
- Some production areas can become hot
- Exposure to chemicals used during the manufacturing process
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of previous work experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, bending, and physical work
- Reliable attendance is extremely important
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thomasville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
