Job Title: Shipper and ReceiverJob DescriptionJoin a trusted manufacturer of commercial door hardware and security solutions as a Shipping Coordinator / Shipper, managing the complete shipping process with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Package products safely and accurately to prevent damage during transit.
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate shipments through various carriers and freight providers, including parcel, LTL, and expedited pickups.
• Communicate with shipping vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure all shipments meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor shipment status, provide tracking information, and assist in resolving delivery issues.
• Review orders for accuracy and verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping destinations.
• Maintain shipping records and documentation for internal and customer use.
• Assist with inventory transactions and inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with customer service, production, and warehouse teams to prioritize and fulfill customer orders.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase shipping efficiency and reduce errors.
• Follow all company safety policies and shipping procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or order coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping paperwork, packing lists, and customer orders.
• Proficiency in computer systems, shipping software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with international shipping documentation, customs requirements, and export procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
• Capability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
