Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and organized individual to join our healthcare team as a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Support Specialist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operational flow within the community health clinic. The clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), provides primary healthcare, dental, and mental health services to those living in Greenwich Public Housing communities and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation.
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical and dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries.
Essential Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- 2+ years of prior administrative, call center, or customer service experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.60 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
