Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Associate to support the production and packaging of respiratory pharmaceutical products in a cGMP-regulated environment. This hands-on role involves operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Perform equipment changeovers, startups, line clearances, cleaning, and operational readiness checks
- Support MDI manufacturing processes, including filling, crimping, propellant charging, leak testing, inspection, and packaging
- Complete production activities in accordance with SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and cGMP requirements
- Investigate equipment issues, perform minor repairs, and support root cause analyses
- Accurately complete production documentation and maintain equipment records
- Assist with training and support of team members as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience; pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with respiratory, inhalation, aerosol, or Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) products preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating and troubleshooting automated equipment
- Knowledge of cGMPs, manufacturing documentation, and production systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic manufacturing systems
Work Environment
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment requiring PPE and cleanroom gowning
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical production activities
- Must be comfortable working with manufacturing chemicals, compressed gases, and production equipment
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Fall River, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
