ACA Agent
Location: JNB Gateway - Kempton Park
Why You’ll Love This Role
You'll be the behind-the-scenes hero making sure international shipments don't get stuck in customs. From monitoring clearance queues to managing customs documentation, you'll help keep our customers happy and our network moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clearance queues and chase down missing shipment information
- Keep systems updated from entry hold right through to release (RLS2)
- Prioritize shipments based on flight schedules and deadlines
- Handle LVM submissions, customs responses, OGA shipments, bonds, XS shipments, and related processes
- Manage declined, released, and low-value shipments
- Update customs statuses and ensure compliance every step of the way
- Deliver first-time-right solutions for customers
- Follow ISO standards and global procedures like a boss
- Jump in and support the team with ad hoc tasks when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years in Courier Exports
- 3+ years in a Customs environment
- Understanding of customs clearance processes
- Knowledge of DHL operational systems is a major flex
- Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) and Logistics degree.
