About this role

Job summary

1. To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to ensure an effective administration service is provided which supports team working and the delivery of clinical activities.

2. As part of a team organise own work as required within a fast-paced working environment to ensure efficient delivery of administrative service support that contributes to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation.

3. Ensuring accurate levels of data quality and information that support service delivery, key performance indicators and standard operating procedures.

4. Co-ordinate and arrange meetings, attend and take notes of meetings ensuring agreed actions are followed up and monitored.

5. In conjunction with the Senior Child Death Review Administrator to ensure that workflow is monitored and is dealt with based on priorities and deadlines to ensure agreed standards are achieved.

Main duties of the job

1. To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Child Death Overview Panel in the running of the Child Death Review process.

2. To plan and organise appointments, meetings, diaries, activities and order products and services that enable effective and efficient use of staff time.

3. Providing a full and confidential, comprehensive administration service and day-to-day administrative support to the Child Death Review team, liaising widely with partner agencies.
