We have a rewarding 12 months fixed term opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Inpatient Admin team within the Directorate of Mental Health at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit, Glenfield Hospital Site. As an Admin Assistant, you will be supporting with the maintenance of Electronic Patient Records along with covering the reception area as part of the Acute Recovery Team providing support to the Clinical team.
The hours of work are Mon to Fri 08:30 - 16:30.
You will be working in a fast paced environment and having direct contact with nursing staff, doctors, consultants, psychology staff and service users which will include face to face contact.

You will be joining a team that work well together and you will be supported to learn and develop, enabling you to provide an excellent administrative service to the multi-disciplinary team within the service.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be tasked with providing high quality, responsive and co-ordinated administrative support to the Inpatient Mental Health Team. Working cohesively with clinical teams to ensure that a high quality, resource-efficient and cost-effective service is provided to adult mental health services throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland
The post holder will work with existing systems and processes to provide an effective administrative service to the team. Accurately using and maintaining administrative systems within specified timescales.
You will need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. and be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the Trusts values at all times in the workplace. Being responsible in the use and expenditure of the Trusts resources that you utilise. To maintain appropriate levels of stock and/or equipment in line with the needs of the service.
