We are looking for a Salaried GP to work between 6-8 sessions, open to applicants who require a Tier 2 Visa to work in the UK.
Our practice motto is 'traditional values, modern medicine'; our vision is to provide high level clinical care together whilst maintaining a patient focused culture.
Our staff consists of 10 GP's, 3 practice nurses and an ANP. There are various teams to help support all areas of general practice. These include, reception/admin staff, prescription team, secretarial team, HCAs, a Senior Assistant, Clinical Pharmacists, MSK and Social Prescribers.
We have both young and experienced staff with a wide variety of special interests. It is our goal to help with developing your career with the correct support and training.
Main duties of the job
- Large Training practice (Approx 19,000 patients)
- Brand new purpose-built health centre
- Salary 90K+ FTE
- 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave.

- Low rate of home visits
- Large clinical support team, comprising Secretaries for referrals, clinical coder, prescriptions team to reduce clerical workload so G.Ps can focus on patient facing care.
About us
Newtown Medical Centre is located in a new built 3 floor modern building. Our population of patient size is around 19,000 with a mixture of ethnic backgrounds. We have both staff, patients and disabled parking available on site.
- Training Practice for Medical students, FY2 and GP Trainees.
- Access for patients on site to First contact practitioners, Paramedics, Health and well-being coaches, clinical pharmacists and Physicians associates among many others.
- Future focused practice integrated in large PCN (Approx 74,000)
