Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Associate Practitioner to join our dedicated team on Sapphire Ward at Gravesham Community Hospital. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients in a rehabilitation setting, following national and local priorities, Trust policies, and Nursing & Midwifery Council standards. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who:
Is NMC registered and committed to maintaining professional standards
Has previous experience in a health or social care setting (rehabilitation experience desirable)
Can work well within a team but also organise their own workload without direct supervision
Has strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Is flexible to work across a seven-day rota
Is competent in IT systems and willing to learn EMIS
Can undertake a range of clinical skills, with desirable experience in venepuncture, catheter care, stoma care, and wound management
Can assess patient needs and implement care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
Can cope with occasional exposure to distressing or emotional situations while maintaining professionalism
Is committed to personal and professional development
