- Job Responsibilities & Tasks Duties include but are not limited to
- Interact with pervious operator to know the order status (referring to planning schedule) and check if any order under processing
- Get the Cylinders to the cutting machine for copper plating along with format
- Check cylinders surface, for the presence of any scratches, dents, tool lines or anything else, which the cylinder is acceptable (or) not acceptable.
- Perform shaft fitting with copper shaft and degreasing of the cylinder on degreasing machine
- Clean the cylinder to perform the copper plating machine and set the parameters as per the plating format
- Monitor the additive quantity and check the copper plating for measuring copper hardness
- In-case (Re-shafting) cylinder; ensure the appropriate polishing and finally place appropriate label.
- Maintain the copper plating log book
- Check the design perfectly and shaft fitting without any contact issue
- Undertake pre-cleaning of cylinder and load on chrome plating machine then set the parameters as per cylinder size on chrome plating machine and polish as per required surface roughness
- Undertake polishing through the proofing machine in order to check the roughness and place a label on the cylinders.
- Maintain the chrome log book with relevant information
- Arrange the cylinder on racks as per respective seat number and job number (wise)
