About this role
- Job Responsibilities & Tasks Duties include but are not limited to.
- During Shift Start:
- Check the order status of the previous shift run and check the pouching plan.
- Take one sample from machine in order to verify the running job is in proper or not in-terms of quality compliance with regard to Job Specification Sheet (JSS).
- Check RM availability to execute the running order.
- Check availability of manpower required and in case of shortage, inform production supervisor accordingly.
- During Order start:
- Check the pouching plan for the job file number and other technical details (JSS) for order startup.
- Check the condition of chiller / heater to ensure the correct temperature is transferred to machine or not.
- Raw Material check for its adequacy with regard to order file and JSS.
- Perform machine setting (air pressure setting, sealer setting, sealer match setting, Temperature control etc.)
- Start the machine for trial and take the sample for verification by QC personnel for the order start-up approval.
- Perform adjustments to eliminate pouching defects if any.
- During Order operation:
- Attend the machine for the production
- Assign work to helpers as following:
- Roll load.
- Machine cleaning, as appropriate
- Collecting pouches at rewinder.
- Arranging WIP & raw material for production.
- Informing Operator/Supervisor if WIP reel under Slitting process.
- Ensure the personnel doing their job appropriately.
- Ensure pouch quality and parameters are as per JSS & coordinate with QC personnel during their checks.
- As needed and applicable, if any maintenance interference required, initiate the “Maintenance call request” and inform maintenance.
- For any support by Production Supervisor, seek accordingly.
- During Order finish:
- Enter the details in Daily Production & IPQA Log book with relevant data and sign.
- Ensure QC personnel signature for validating the Product quality.
- Collect the pouches, put them into a proper box and weigh it to put sticker (with quantity details) and handover to Stores personnel.
- Initiate entire line cleaning up including the machine area.
- During Shift end:
- Ensure the availability of Raw material, if the order is under process and ensure right support to next production team for smooth handover.
- Take a sample from running order, to check and ensure the condition of quality conformance.
- Ensure the Daily Production & IPQA Log book completion with entire shift happenings (including the current order during shift end).
- Ensure clean machine condition to handover the shift to next batch.
- Perform the assigned tasks by the Production supervisor.
