About the role
Are you a marketer who wants your work to make a real difference?
We are looking for a Marketing Officer to help us reach and inspire the next generation of students, and to tell the stories of the people who make our college what it is.
As part of our Marketing and Schools Liaison team, you will deliver campaigns across digital, print, PR and events, working with colleagues across the college and with external partners to make sure every piece of our marketing is clear, consistent and effective. It is an ideal role for someone who is creative, organised and motivated by seeing their work achieve results.
You will
- Support our Marketing Manager in delivering the college’s marketing strategy, planning, running and reviewing campaigns that raise our profile and attract new students. You’ll work across:
- Digital marketing: running our organic social channels, setting up and tracking paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Ads, keeping our website fresh and SEO-friendly, and running email campaigns through HubSpot.
- Events: helping to organise open events, recruitment and community events, and high-profile visits, including VIP, royal and ministerial occasions.
- Campaigns and strategy: planning and delivering online and offline campaigns, using data to see what works and improve it, and keeping our brand consistent.
- Content creation: writing and designing marketing materials, building a pipeline of written, photo and video content (including student-generated content), and managing print projects such as our prospectus.
- Research and reporting: tracking performance, keeping an eye on competitors and trends, and contributing to monthly marketing reports.
About you
You will bring
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience in digital marketing and familiarity with tools such as Meta for Business, HubSpot and Canva
- Experience producing materials for the public, such as leaflets or brochures, and commissioning print, design and photography
- Experience delivering marketing and communications campaigns in a complex organisation
- A track record of hitting tight deadlines while juggling several projects
- Great attention to detail and the ability to build good working relationships at every level
- A positive, proactive approach, with ideas you’re keen to see through
- A degree or equivalent experience
You’ll benefit from:
