We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered General Nurse to join our residential and nursing care team, providing high-quality, person-centred care for older people.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and responsive clinical support.
You will play an important role in promoting dignity, wellbeing, and independence while ensuring nursing practice reflects professional standards, organisational policies, and regulatory requirements.
The role also includes medication management, clinical decision making, supporting care staff, and contributing to continuous improvement across the service.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Registered General Nurse with a caring and professional approach to join our residential and nursing home team.
You will provide clinical and personal care to residents, monitor wellbeing, administer medication safely, maintain accurate records, and respond appropriately to changes in residents needs.
The successful candidate will support and guide care staff during shifts, helping to maintain high standards of person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.
You will work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and compassionate care delivery.
Candidates must hold current NMC registration and demonstrate strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills.

We are looking for caring, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated multidisciplinary teams and help residents live well in later life.
About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding standards of care and clinical practice.
This post is initially based at our Vi and John Rubens House, Nursing Home, currently in Ilford, IG2 6JH Moving to our new Sugar Family Care Home set to open in early summer 2026 (IG4 5LN).
You will:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred care Monitor residents health and wellbeing, responding promptly to changes in condition Safely administer and manage medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines Lead, support, and motivate care teams during shifts Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation Promote safeguarding, dignity, and high-quality care standards Support and develop colleagues through guidance, supervision, and training Work collaboratively with families and external healthcare professionals About You We are looking for compassionate and professional nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.
You will have:
Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN A Nursing degree (Bachelors or Masters) At least 1 years nursing experience in a care or clinical setting Experience leading or supporting care teams Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records Strong communication and organisational skills A positive, flexible, and team-focused approach Experience working with older people and individuals living with dementia is desirable.

Week 1: 4 shifts Week 2: 3 shifts
Shifts are:
7:45am 8:15pm (12.5 hour shifts including breaks) 11.5 hours paid due to 15-minute handover meetings
