Requirements
- Experience developing, configuring, or supporting applications in complex production environments
- Strong knowledge of CEN/XFS and ATM or self-service device integration
- Experience developing or maintaining deployment, configuration, or automation scripts
- Experience deploying applications and software components across distributed hardware estates
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including analysing application logs and technical traces to identify root causes
- Good knowledge of Windows application environments
- Ability to operate as a technical subject-matter expert and guide other engineers
- Experience working across multiple technical disciplines and understanding dependencies between them
- Desired: Knowledge of ATM vendors such as NCR, Cennox, and Diebold Nixdorf, and multi-vendor ATM environments
- Desired: Knowledge of BASE24-eps, ISO 8583, EMV, EPP/PIN devices, ATM middleware, transaction processing, software deployment and automation, CI/CD, testing, and diagnostic tooling
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ATM applications
- Develop and maintain scripts to install, configure, and deploy ATM applications and supporting components
- Support application deployment across multiple ATM hardware platforms and vendors
- Develop and support CEN/XFS integrations with ATM devices and peripherals
- Investigate complex issues across ATM applications, deployment scripts, operating systems, XFS components, service providers, and physical devices
- Use application logs, XFS traces, and other diagnostic information to perform root-cause analysis
- Provide technical guidance and share knowledge across the engineering team
- Improve application build, deployment, testing, and support processes through automation
