Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Service Designer in complex digital transformation environments
- Strong knowledge of GDS standards and user-centred design principles
- Experience leading service design projects and engaging senior stakeholders
- Excellent workshop facilitation, communication and collaboration skills
- Active SC Security Clearance is essential
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end service design activities, from discovery through implementation and delivery
- Design and shape innovative digital services around user needs and business objectives
- Apply GDS standards, accessibility requirements and inclusive design principles
- Plan and facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, co-design activities and design sprints
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including UX/UI Designers, User Researchers, Product Owners and Developers
- Use research, insights and service mapping to identify opportunities and improve customer experiences
- Support and mentor junior designers and contribute to the wider design community
