Requirements
- Experience with some or all of the listed test automation, programming, API and quality engineering, and DevOps/CI/CD skills
- Test automation tools and practices such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, automation frameworks, end-to-end testing, and API testing
- Programming experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- API and quality engineering experience with REST Assured, Postman, Bruno, REST APIs, test strategy, or quality assurance principles
- DevOps and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Git
- Agile experience is a plus
- Exposure to performance, security, or accessibility testing is a plus
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
- Interest or exposure to AI-assisted testing, Generative AI, or intelligent automation is a plus
- Mentoring experience or contributions to quality engineering strategy are a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions
- Build and execute functional, API, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Work with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to improve quality across the development lifecycle
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into delivery processes
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency
- Support the adoption of quality engineering best practices across development teams
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

The role is based in Manchester, with hybrid working and 2–3 days per week on site, at a market rate inside IR35.
