Requirements
- Strong enterprise network design experience and hands-on Fortinet Secure SD-WAN expertise
- Experience designing Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Broad network design knowledge across WAN, LAN, routing, switching, security and resilience
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience leading design reviews and providing technical governance
- Confidence presenting technical solutions and running customer workshops
- Desirable, but not essential: Fortinet certifications such as NSE, FCF or FCSS; SASE and Zero Trust; AWS, Azure or Google Cloud networking; firewalls and secure access technologies; network automation, orchestration or Infrastructure as Code; MPLS and Internet WAN; SD-WAN migrations and large-scale network transformation; network strategy and future-state architecture
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end enterprise network solutions, particularly using Fortinet Secure SD-WAN
- Produce solutions covering WAN, LAN, routing, switching, security and network resilience
- Take designs from initial requirements through implementation and handover
- Lead customer workshops and technical design reviews
- Support bids, proposals and pre-sales activity
- Advise customers and senior stakeholders as a trusted technical partner
- Provide technical governance and review complex network designs
- Help develop design standards, frameworks and reusable solution patterns
- Mentor colleagues and share technical expertise across the wider team
