About this role
We are looking for someone who
- Is an excellent and experienced EYFS practitioner with high expectations for all children.
- Has a secure and thorough understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of child development and how young children learn, particularly through play, exploration and carefully planned adult-led experiences.
- Understands the importance of developing strong foundations in communication and language, early reading, writing and mathematics.
- Creates purposeful, engaging and ambitious learning experiences that meet the needs of all children.
- Establishes an enabling environment that promotes independence, curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.
- Uses assessment effectively to identify children's starting points, address gaps in learning and secure strong progress.
- Understands the importance of early identification and appropriate support for children with additional needs.
- Is reflective, motivated and committed to continually improving their practice.
- Works positively as part of a high-performing team and contributes to a shared vision of excellence.
- Shares our ambition for ensuring every child gets the very best possible start to their education.
