6 sessions a week
This position is for 6 sessions a week, as full days on Tuesday and Friday with flexibility with the other sessions and will be discussed prior to appointment.
There are 12,000 patients registered with the practice and there is a planned extension in advanced stages of discussions, which in coming years will provide every GP with their own clinical room. We have an established telephone triage system in the practice and have recently switched to EMIS and Docman 10, with the practice being paper light and a low administrative burden for salaried GPs.
We are a very friendly and close-knit team, who place a strong emphasis on supporting each other and the social aspect of working together. For GPs who have recently obtained their CCT, there is the offer of dedicated mentoring and personal development sessions in the initial months of joining our team. We are a highly regarded training practice for GP registrars and Medical Students and there would be teaching opportunities for the successful applicant if this was of interest.
We promote excellence and are high QAIF Achievers. We offer several enhanced services , including joint injections and LARC provision. We encourage the successful applicant to develop any areas of specialist interest.

About us
We are a large training practice looking to recruit an enthusiastic salaried GP to help with service provision due to growing practice list size. The preferred start date would be July 2026 or as soon as possible after this, but we will wait for the right candidate.
Our clinical team consists of 8 established and supportive GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, a pharmacy department with a prescribing pharmacist, pharmacy technician and prescribing clerk and an excellent nursing team of 4 practice nurses and 2 healthcare assistants, with established chronic disease clinics and one of our nurses training to become an ANP.
