Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Vaccination and Immunisation Service. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead the day-to-day operational delivery of high-quality immunisation services while helping to shape the future of vaccination programmes across West Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will play a key strategic role in supporting and delivering the collaborative vision across West Yorkshire, contributing to the ongoing development, sustainability, and transformation of vaccination & immunisation services.
You will be accountable for the leadership, management, coordination, and development of a multidisciplinary team delivering services in line with local and national service specifications. You will provide operational oversight, support service improvement and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive care.
Our Immunisation Team delivers the Childhood Immunisation Programme across North Kirklees, alongside school-aged immunisation programmes throughout Kirklees.
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader who can inspire teams, drive continuous improvement, and act as a positive agent for change. You will possess excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across services and partner organisations.
This role is not applicable for sponsorship & candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.
