Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and may be required to teach other nursing and non nursing staff. To provide designated named nurse responsibility for a number of patients. To provide leadership, supervision and support to junior staff both qualified and unqualified in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader and Unit Manager during the course of the normal shift pattern, and to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources available to deliver a high standard of quality care to service users.

Education & Qualifications Essential
Current professional registration - NMC Experience of working with patients with complex and challenging needs. Previous experience of working in an inpatient environment Up to date clinical skills in providing health care to patients in hospital.
