Job summary We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Highly Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our dedicated team across our Basildon, Brentwood and Thurrock clinics.
This is a permanent full time position within the Essex Community Paediatric team, with a salary aligned to Band 7 (£49,397 - £56,515, pro-rated for part-time roles). This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathways, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care and support for children and their families.

The Role This role focuses on delivering specialist clinical expertise to support individuals within neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathways. You will work as part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, ensuring that assessments pathways and support are tailored to the needs of those we serve. Your contributions will help to shape care delivery and improve outcomes for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Provide specialist assessments and interventions within neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathways. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care and support. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.

Professional qualification and registration as an Allied Health Professional (AHP), nurse, or psychologist. Demonstrable experience working within neurodevelopmental services or similar clinical settings. Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
