Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and dynamic Dermatology teams at Poole and Christchurch Hospitals.
The Dermatology departments provide a range of day care treatments including complex inflammatory management, phototherapy, iontophoresis and minor surgery. This is an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to continue to develop their expertise within this speciality at an exciting time as we work towards providing a joint Dermatology service across our UHD organisation.
If you do not hold any dermatology skills but would like to join our team then this could be an exciting Band 5 developmental role that would lead to a Band 6 once all competencies reached.
This role requires a current UK NMC Registration
Base Location: Poole and Christchurch

Ability to work under pressure Able to travel within geographical area as required by service/requirements of the post
Knowledge Essential
Demonstrate in depth knowledge of the care of the Dermatology patient Knowledge of complex dermatology conditions

Knowledge of British association of Dermatology guidelines.

Effective communication skills including verbal and written. Be able to speak English as necessary to undertake the role. IT literacy Teaching and presentation skills Project and change management skills

Qualifications Essential
RGN qualified for a minimum of two years Nursing Diploma or Degree

Mentorship / Teaching qualification
Experience Essential
Demonstrates experience within the relevant clinical area Evidence of being able to work/run clinics Evidence of being able to work independently.

Two years minimum of working in Dermatology.
