Job description Job responsibilities
As a 111 Clinical Advisor, youll support patients over the phone, using the NHS Pathways system to assess symptoms and guide them to the right care. As their first clinical contact, youll take them to next best step, while offering reassurance and evidence-based advice.
If youre a Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist with post-registration experience, we can give you full training. Strong clinical judgement, IT confidence, and clear communication skills are also essential

Qualifications Essential
Registered Adult Nurse with the NMC, Paramedic with the HCPC or Pharmacist with the GPhC
Desirable
Recognised Minor Illness, Injuries certificate Mentor/coaching qualification
Experience Essential
Minimum 2 years clinical experience post registration in a clinical setting EExperience of working within a multi-professional / multi agency environment Broad clinical knowledge base Broad clinical experience in a variety of areas to include recent acute and/or primary care areas Experience of working independently Evidence of continuous training, learning and development
Desirable
Nurse triage/telephone advice experience and competence Experience of working within primary care
