Job summary
A scientist position is available within the Centre for Cell, Gene & Tissue Therapeutics Vector Manufacturing Labs. The post holder will be responsible for supporting a new, GMP-compliant lentiviral manufacturing facility and assisting the development and implementation of novel intermediate scale viral vector manufacturing techniques.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
Develop and implement cutting-edgelentiviral production techniques usingstate-of-the-art production equipment. Play a key role in building and qualifying a GMP process from the ground up. Participate in GMP manufacture of viral vector. Conduct and develop analytical assays for viral vectors, including flow cytometry, sterility testing, and qPCR. Analyse and interpret complex batch data, contributing to process optimisation. Maintain lab equipment and contribute to a compliant and efficient lab environment.
