Laser Cutting Technician
Looking for an experienced Laser Cutting Technician who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and working with precision equipment. This position is a great fit for someone with experience operating fiber or CO2 laser cutting machines, reading blueprints, and working with metal fabrication. What Youll Be Doing
- Operate fiber laser cutting equipment, including flat-bed and tube lasers
- Set up, calibrate, and make adjustments to machines
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic mechanical repairs
- Load and unload metal sheets and finished parts
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on laser equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience operating fiber or CO2 laser cutting machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or assembly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A Plus, But Not Required
- CNC or laser programming experience
- Experience with nesting software
- Machine troubleshooting and basic mechanical repair experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Maiden, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
