Journeyman Electrician - Data Center Project
Now Hiring: Journeyman Electricians for Large-Scale Data Center ConstructionWe're seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support a major data center construction project. - Initial Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (QTS Data Center)
- Future Transfer: Papillion/Omaha, NE (Google Data Center)
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
- Orientations: Mondays and Wednesdays
Pay & Benefits
- $57.00/hour for approved Journeyman licenses
- $45.00/hour while license reciprocity is being processed
- $178/day Per Diem (7 days per week for qualified travelers)
- Reciprocity Fee Covered
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Significant overtime available
Job Responsibilities
- Pulling and installing wire
- Building and installing cable tray systems
- Wire terminations
- Installing large overhead conduit systems
- Supporting electrical installations in a data center environment
- Following all jobsite safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Active Journeyman Electrician License in Nebraska OR a reciprocating state:
- Arkansas
- Colorado
- Idaho
- Iowa
- Minnesota
- Montana
- New Mexico
- North Dakota
- Oklahoma
- South Dakota
- Texas
- Wyoming
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical installations
- Ability to work overtime schedules
Preferred Experience

- Large commercial or industrial projects
- Conduit installation
- Cable tray systems
- Terminations and electrical equipment installation
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
